The training provided in the studio is based on the theory that early man evolved to walk upright and the health of the human body is dependent on walking frequently, confidently, and efficiently.
Modern living has us engaging in activities that have a negative effect on the functioning of our bodies by further disconnecting us from nature as well as creating conveniences that have us moving so little that we’re not meeting the most basic of movement needs.
the exercise selection and lifestyle recommendations are designed to help re-shape perceptions and ideas of how we workout, train the biomechanical patterns of the walking cycle, improve posture, increase muscular activity, and create a more pleasant human experience.
The training involves getting down and up off the floor, moving your body in various ranges of motion, moving weights in various directions (not just up and down), and opening up your mind to eliminating (or at least mitigating) the things in your life that are potentially hurting you rather than helping you.
